Notice to First National Bank of Montana Visa Customers:
Visa USA now charges an International Service Assessment of 0.8% on international transactions, regardless of a currency conversion. If there is a currency conversion, the International Service Assessment is 1% of the transaction.

 
   
 

Protecting your privacy is important to First National Bank of Montana and our employees. First National Bank of Montana recognizes that you expect the highest level of security and confidentiality for your personal information. We want you to understand what information we collect and how we use it. In order to provide our customers with a broad range of financial products and services as effectively and conveniently as possible, we use technology to manage and maintain customer information. The following policy serves as a standard for all First National Bank of Montana employees for collection, use, retention, and security of nonpublic personal information.
 

 What Information We Collect

We collect “nonpublic personal information” about you from the following sources:
     
Information we receive from you on applications, other loan forms, account forms, and Internet cookies such as your name, address, social security number, assets and income.  
     
Information about your transactions with others, or us such as your account balance, payment history, parties to transactions and credit card usage.  
     
Information we receive from third parties such as credit bureaus, such as your credit worthiness and credit history.

 Disclosure of Information to Unaffiliated Third Parties

First National Bank of Montana may share all of the information described above with third parties that we contract with to help us provide a product or service that may benefit our customers. For example, we have a data processing service that processes all of the transactions on our customer’s accounts and a marketing agency that develops an appropriate marketing program for the Bank. However, whenever we do share information, we insist that they adhere to similar privacy principles to protect our customer’s privacy. We do not reveal specific information about your accounts or other personally identifiable data to parties outside our affiliated banks and companies for their independent use, unless:
     
You request or authorize it;  
     
The information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you;  
     
The disclosure is required or allowed by law.  
     

 Disclosure of Information to First National Bank of Montana Affiliates

Whenever necessary and appropriate to serve our customers or offer our services to customers, the Bank may share your transaction information with the following type of affiliate, however information will not be shared if it is to be used for marketing solicitation purposes:

› Financial service providers, such as mortgage bankers, securities brokers-dealer and insurance agents.

Each of the affiliates adheres to the Privacy policies and practices described in this notice.

We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
